I get lawyers criticizing me all the time telling me that capital gains must be paid because they say that there is some kind of law that dictates you have to snitch on yourself. there's no such law in Canada in fact you have the right to remain silent and that right supersedes any request that is made by any branch of government and that includes the Canada Revenue agency. remember they've been losing in the courts and they have no Authority unless you hand it over to them. if you own property and you want to sell it and keep your money I'm the only guy who's not going to report anything to the CRA and I'm the guy that's going to make sure that you don't pay out any liens after you sell the property. the CRA does not put liens against properties they put writs against you the individual and if you sell your house with me as your agent, that lien goes away by default because the new owners do not have a tax bill.
stop taking advice from tax lawyers and accountants in Canada who don't know what they're talking about I'm the only guy who does!
